Degree choice has always seemed to me a bit of a battle of opportunity cost. To what extent will an IT Innovation degree course load differ from that of an MIS degree? Are you sacrificing technical or management courses to cram in an innovation or entrepreneurship course?

I don't want to come across as negative, I just wonder what sacrifices are taken and what benefits they bring. In what areas will these students be lacking after leaving college, in what ways will they be better prepared? Keep in, BrightMixers, that you've had years of industry experience to learn from; IT Innovation degrees might teach business lessons, but they won't necessarily provide the tech. lessons.

In any event, props to UNO for providing a unique degree. Thanks for the link to Wagner's site.
